After decades of software design and development experience I founded Digital Marketing Service Group out of Denning Software Consulting. I identified a need for a single presence to direct the design and development of all web-based technologies. This included web site design as well as hands on web site development, search engine optimization, social media site development and web site marketing.

Chief Technology Officer at Capital Strategies Press
As the Chief Technology Officer at Capital Strategies Press I directed the design and development of all web-based technology. This included directing operations as well as hands on web design and development. Tasks included implementing search engine optimization (SEO), social media site development and web site marketing. These tasks required using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript either native or within the WordPress content management system.
Windows CE BSP consultant at Medtronic (MiniMed)
From 2010 – 2012 as a Windows CE BSP consultant, enhanced and debugged the WinCE Board Support Package (including drivers for SPI, RS232, display, battery, backlight, I2C and custom hardware along with Mobile Power Management) and created the Software Design Document from the requirments specification for the Medtronic/MiniMed Patch Delivery System mobile/personal/ insulin pump system. Also was the point of contact for external consultants in Monza Italy, Laviv Ukraine, Plano Texas and Seattle Washington. Concluding task included porting the original obsolete BSP to the newest Freescale iMX31 BSP baseline and refactoring the code base. (C / C++ / C# / MASM – WinCE 6 – Visual Studio 2005/2008 – Design Patterns – UML) Medtronic is the world leader in the development and manufacture of portable insulin pumps with continuous glucose monitoring and therapy management software.
Senior Windows CE Embedded Software Engineer/Consultant at CardioNet
From 2007 – 2010 as the only Windows CE BSP developer, enhanced and debugged the WinCE BSP for the CardioNet C3 Mobile Cardiac Monitor that had been previously delivered in a non functional state from an outside consulting company. By completing this effort in a timely fashion CardioNet was able to proceed with the IPO process (NYSE – BEAT). Subsequent duties included enhancements and maintenance to the BSP and Win CE Monitoring application residing on the Monitor. Concluding tasks included development of Software Requirements Specification and Software Development Specification for BSP porting for the next generation product. In addition aided in GUI development and business logic enhancements. (C/C++/C# – Platform Builder – WinCE 5/6 – Visual Studio 2005/2008 – Design Patterns – UML) CardioNet is the industry leader in providing ambulatory cardiac monitoring service with beat-to-beat, real time analysis, automatic arrhythmia detection and wireless (cell phone) ECG transmission.
Software Engineering Consultant at Delta Design
From 2005 – 2007 as a Software Consultant, enhanced and debugged the Windows operating software for the for Edge Ambient-Hot Pick and Place integrated circuit handler. This included code for moving various machine parts in sequence to allow the pickup and placement of ICs into various moving sorting trays. This also included code to handle a built in 2D barcode scanner used for gathering and handling IC parametric data. (C/C++ – Visual Studio 2005 – UML) Delta Design is the leading supplier of pick-and-place handlers and thermal sub-systems used in semiconductor manufacturing final test.
Consultant/Technical Analyst at Tempo Research (Greenlee Textron)
From 1998 – 2005 as the original software developer, designed and developed a Windows C++ application for communicating with a Tempo Sidekick test module inserted in the accessory bay of a Panasonic Toughbook laptop computer. The success of this effort allowed Tempo to win a $100M contract with SBC Corporation which doubled sales and instigated the subsequent purchase of Tempo by Greenlee-Textron Corp. The Sidekick module was the flagship of the VIP line of test modules produced by Tempo. Subsequently a Windows CE 4.2 based product line was developed known as the TeamMate which combined the VIP line of test modules with a PDA within a custom housing. Some of the modules included a Time-Domain Reflectometer and a Cable TV Signal Strength Meter. Tempo is the world’s premier manufacturer of portable test equipment for the telephony industry.
